A precious wee princess.
It's funny, more than anything I seem to find myself with stunning women in front of my camera, as fashion is a real passion of mine but very few realise I think that my actual favourite thing to photograph are newborn babes.
There is nothing more amazing to me, than a newborn. They are so tiny and precious. So completely reliant on us for everything.
And I don't get to see nearly enough of them lately. So having the opportunity to do a photoshoot for a good friend of mine who needed images, well I was so excited I could barely sit still all weekend!
I have a huge prop collection, and a lot of them have been made by a very talented and sweet woman who lives on the Kapiti coast Jaimie from Fragile Rage so when she needed some images specifically for her advertising I didn't hesitate to put my hand up!
I had a friend whose brother's wee baby had just been born, and so we organised her to be our model and what a fantastic choice that was.
Mikila was just stunning. The most amazing full head of hair and gosh such a placid and wonderful baby to have in studio. She was a total superstar - no diva moments here whatsoever!
